Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Health has announced that AstraZeneca booster shots for journalists will be administered next month. The vaccination for journalists will run for one week, from 8-15 September. Ministry of Health spokesperson, Dr. Or Vandine, says that they have included journalists as part of the priority group because of the nature of their job, being active in many places during the day to provide information needed by the public.

The vaccination of journalists will be held only at the National Children’s Hospital. The Ministry of Information has recorded 310 print media, 400 websites and 400 online TV stations, 200 television stations, 221 radio stations and 22 representative offices of foreign news agencies, television and radio stations.

The Royal Government first prioritized journalists in the country when it started vaccinating back in February.
